EUROGATE implements CONROO Gate Pass to improve terminal security

EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg (CTH) will implement CONROO's GATE PASS solution to enable the fully digital verification of truck drivers. The main goal is to improve efficiency and safety in all processes at EUROGATE container terminals.

EUROGATE uses CONROO's APP solution from the hinterland and thus supports the principles of environmentally friendly combined transport and promotes business growth.

With container terminals in five countries in Europe and North Africa, EUROGATE is adopting ConRoos digital solution “GATE PASS”, which was developed in close partnership, for seamless identification of truck drivers when picking up or delivering.

This change ensures seamless entry and exit without delays and makes the previous analog “trucker card” at the EUROGATE site in Hamburg superfluous until May 2, 2024, in order to be replaced by ConRoos GATE PASS. Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven will quickly follow suit, as will other international EUROGATE locations.

EUROGATE's support for ConRoos APP solution underscores its proven effectiveness at numerous terminal and depot locations in the DACH region, including Deutsche Bahn terminals, Swissterminal and TriCon.

The fully digital GATE PASS improves efficiency and increases security throughout terminal operations. This app solution is compatible with all common mobile devices and simplifies the entire process, from registration and complete digital driver verification to DAKOSY route planning (TR02) and on-site instructions.

What sets them apart is their comprehensive interface system, which seamlessly integrates all participants along the logistics chain, including TMS, platforms such as DriveMyBox, as well as depots and warehouses. CONROO always acts as an independent and neutral partner at every location. The new “GATE PASS” app solution will be gradually introduced at all EUROGATE Group terminal locations in Germany from spring 2024.
