The Container Terminal and Logistics Group is now implementing the Conroo Gate Pass solution at the Container Terminal Hamburg (CTH). It aims to enable digital verification of truck drivers, among other functionalities.

The digital solution developed by Conroo in collaboration with Eurogate for identifying truck drivers at pickup or delivery points aims to ensure entry and exit without delays.

The current access authorization, the analog “Trucker Card,” will lose its validity at the Eurogate location in Hamburg from May 2, 2024, and will be replaced by the Conroo Gate Pass, according to both companies. Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven will immediately follow, as well as other international Eurogate locations. Michael Blach, Chairman of the Group Management Board of the Eurogate Group, stated:
“Today, we are taking more than just one step forward. By introducing the Conroo solution across locations, we are setting new standards for the entire Eurogate Group. However, this also sets an example for other sea and hinterland terminals. Ultimately, everyone can benefit from more efficient information exchange along the entire supply chain.”

App for registration to tour planning

The fully digital Gate Pass not only ensures greater efficiency but also significantly enhances security throughout the terminal operations. The app solution works on all common mobile devices and covers the entire process, from registration to the full digital verification of the driver, to Dakosy tour planning (TR02), and on-site instructions.
